Hello,

My name is Park Peters, and I own and operate Audio Park Recording Studio in Arvada Colorado. Being totally blind, I have faced many challenges over the thirty-four years I have been in business. This, however, could be the biggest yet.

A bit of history: In 2004, I mortgaged my house to build out my current location on Yukon St. in Arvada. In 2010, I was shut down for almost six months because of roof leaks. When I contacted the bank with which I have a business line of credit to ask them for help, they offered none. Instead, they did freeze my business line of credit just for calling! Also, I lost a couple of regular clients due to being shut down! Since then, the current owner of the building has been wanting to sell it. He now has someone interested in buying it. However, the new buyer does not want to rent it. The owner has given me until the end of June to work something out. Within the last few weeks, I have talked to three different banks who all tell me the same thing. Because of my income being down in both 2010 and 2011, combined with a freeze on my credit report, they are unable to loan me anything at this time.

My seemingly impossible goal is to raise $350,000 by the end of June. With you and your friends' help, I believe this goal is possible!

My proposal: If you could part with a dollar or two of your money and a few minutes of your time to send this to your friends, it can happen! If 35,000 people Paypal me 10 dollars each, I have reached my goal.! The people I've shared this idea with all tell me I'm nuts! But with your help, this wacky plan might work!

I'm not hiding anything! There won't be a tax deduction, because Audio Park is a for profit company. All I can promise you is that by keeping my doors open, I can continue to serve the musical and blind communities throughout the area. This is not spam! I will not send another email like this ever! Just think how good you'll feel by helping a small business stay in business!
